We're taking extra steps to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our staff and customers and are now offering service pick-up and delivery options for your convenience. Is the Modern Toyota service center open?

Yes, our Toyota service department in Winston-Salem, NC, is open. We are taking this crisis seriously and are taking extra steps to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. We are sanitizing vehicles and the customer lounge regularly, and we're also following the social distancing guidelines given by the CDC.

Should you be open?

What are the Modern Toyota service center hours?

Our service hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Do you have a contact-free or curbside service option?

Yes. When you arrive at Modern Toyota, you'll find that there is a designated area to wait and phone number to call to initiate your curbside service check-in.

Are Masks Required?

Yes, per State Executive Order No. 147, masks are required*.

What transportation options do you offer?

We offer a variety of transportation options to meet your needs. We are offering Toyota service pick-up and delivery options in addition to discounted rental vehicles. Our customer lounge remains open and we are deeply sanitizing it regularly. Outdoor seating is being provided where possible as well. Will you pick up my car and take it to the dealership for service?

Yes. When you call to schedule your appointment, ask for the service pick-up and delivery option. We will come to your home or business to pick up your vehicle and deliver it back to you upon completion of the Toyota service. There is no additional cost for this option, for your safety and convenience.

What are you doing to disinfect my vehicle?

The Modern Toyota service technicians are required to change gloves after servicing each vehicle and use protective materials on seats and steering wheels. Once the service is complete, your car will then be sprayed with a disinfectant.

What are you doing to keep the customer lounge clean?

We are cleaning and disinfecting all customer touch-points on a regular basis. As each chair gets sanitized, we place a "Recently Sanitized" card on the chair to help customers know which chairs have been recently disinfected.

Are you cleaning the seats in the customer lounge?

Yes, we are sanitizing seats on a regular basis. As each chair gets sanitized, we place a "Recently Sanitized" card on the chair to help customers know which chairs have been recently disinfected.

What are you doing to keep employees and customers safe?

We are taking this crisis seriously and are taking extra steps to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. Technicians are required to change gloves after servicing each vehicle, use protective materials on seats and steering wheels and sanitize each vehicle with a disinfectant spray after the completion of service. The customer lounge and all high-touch areas are getting sanitized multiple times each day.

Are you providing gloves and masks?

We are doing our best to keep up our supply of gloves and masks for our employees. Gloves and masks may be available for customers based on current supply. Please ask your service advisor for more information.

Have you had anyone test positive for COVID-19?

We have had one positive COVID-19 employee in the Service area of Modern Toyota, the following steps and recommendations are being applied and taken:

  • The positive employee is being asked to quarantine for 14 days;
  • The two technicians that were closest to the positive employee are, despite their lack of symptoms, being asked to quarantine for 14 days;
  • For the next fourteen (14) days, all technicians in the upper and lower shops are being asked to wear masks whenever they cannot socially distance from their coworkers.
  • This includes wearing a mask during ANY trips to the back parts counter, restrooms or other areas where social distancing cannot be accomplished;
  • For the next 14 days, the back counter parts employees are also being asked to wear masks whenever they are working with a technician or when they cannot socially distance from their coworkers;
  • The positive employee’s work station has been cleaned on more than one occasion since his last day of work on May 29th, and the entire Modern Toyota facility has also been cleaned on more than one occasion.  This includes daily deep cleanings and the use of a specialized disinfecting spray;

Modern will continue to interview every employee utilizing the COVID-19 symptom questionnaire in order to identify any potential symptoms or exposures

Can I pay over the phone or online?

Yes, you can pay either online or over the phone for your Toyota maintenance and repairs.

Do you have a financing option for service work?

Yes, we offer flexible options through Sunbit. You can see what you're eligible for by speaking with an auto service advisor.

Can I purchase Toyota parts online and have them shipped to my house?

Yes, you can purchase Toyota parts online on our website and have them delivered to your home.
