Performance

The 2019 Tundra has two engines to choose from. The 4.6L V8 has 310 horsepower, 327 lb-ft torque, and can tow up to 6,800 pounds. For more brawn, there's a 5.7L V8 with 381 horsepower, 401 lb-ft torque, and towing up to 10,200 pounds. The Tundra has two different cab styles and three truck bed lengths.

If you want to move away from the Kernersville streets and do some off-roading, the Tundra TRD Pro trim is ready for adventure. You'll get off-road suspension, skid plates to protect the underside, lightweight wheels, and other off-road-focused features.

Safety

Advanced safety technologies are becoming more popular with pickups, but few of the Tundra's competitors have so many that come standard. All six of the Tundra's trims have the Toyota Safety Sense™ package included. It offers the following, that way you can drive from the office in Burlington back to your home in Thomasville with added confidence:

  • Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Pre-Collision Alert with Pedestrian Detection
  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

  • When you move up the lineup, you can find brighter LED lights for nighttime driving, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert (great for the highway or that tricky parking lot in Mt. Airy), and front and rear parking assist that makes situating a full-size truck between the white lines a breeze. Bluetooth for hands-free calling and a backup camera are, of course, standard.

    Technology & Convenience Features

As you commute from Salisbury, it pays to be comfortable and content behind the wheel. All Tundra options have either a 6.1- or 7-inch touchscreen. Available extras include JBL speakers, navigation, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. For comfort and convenience, you can get power-seating for the front-seat passengers (plus a memory setting for the driver), heated seats, optional leather interiors, and a sunroof for those beautiful Lexington NC afternoons.

Most of the new Tundra trims come with several package options as well, so you can continue to upgrade your choice without going to the next trim level. For more information on the 2019 Toyota Tundra truck, visit our Winston-Salem Toyota showroom this week!
